Lumenos HSA Compatible Plans

With the Lumenos HSA Plan, you have the ability to save tax-free dollars in an account.  You’ll get a Health Savings Account (HSA) that you fund with pre- or post-tax dollars.  You can use the HSA to help pay for medical care and prescriptions, and other eligible medical expenses.  You will not pay taxes on withdrawals as long as you spend your HSA funds on qualified medical expenses.  Your money will earn interest while in the HSA account and any funds not used at the end of the year, will carry over to your account for the following year.

Lumenos HIA Plans:

With the Lumenos HIA Plan, you have the ability to use funds allocated to an account set up for you to help pay for your medical care and prescriptions.  You’ll get a Health Incentive Account (HIA) funded entirely by Healthy Rewards Incentives that you can earn.  These funds will help pay the cost of your medical Care and prescription drugs.

Healthy Rewards Incentives:

  • Completing health risk assessment = $50
  • Joining health coach program (if qualified) = $100
  • Graduating from health coach program (if applicable) = $100
  • Completing tobacco cessation program = $50
  • Completing weight management program (if qualified) = $50

Lumenos HIA Plus —

The Lumenos HIA Plus Plan allows you to use funds allocated to an account set up for you to pay for your medical care and prescriptions.  You’ll get a Health Incentive Account (HIA) funded by the health plan.  Individuals receive $500 per year and Families receive $1000 per year.  Blue Cross contributes to your account quarterly. So every 3 months individuals will get $125, and families will get $250. These funds will help pay the cost of your medical care and prescriptions.  Plus, you can earn additional dollars in your account with Health Rewards Incentives.  Any unused HIA funds roll over to the next year – there is no limit to the amount you can carry over.
